Easter Parade Canada – Easter Egg Hunt Across Canada

easter

Spring comes early on Canada’s west coast, with February seeing the arrival of tulips and temperatures on average staying above O°C (32°F). Elsewhere in the country, spring starts in April and goes to June. But never take this season for granted. On April 14, 2017 we experienced a massive snow storm in Edmonton, Alberta. April usually sees the last of the winter’s snow, except in higher altitudes like Banff or Whistler, both popular ski destinations where the season doesn’t end until May.

Hop into Spring

This long weekend celebrate spring’s arrival from March 30, to April 2, 2018! After a long winter, the barns have come alive with the arrival of newborn animals. Welcome the soft, little lambs, marvel at the rabbits’ silky fur, and observe the fluffy, newly-hatched chicks and ducklings.

The Easter Bunny will be making a stop in many places across Canada. Bring your basket and search for hidden eggs. Learn about the transformation of cacao beans into chocolate while making a chocolate cake or cookies. Enjoy!

Edmonton has perfected the festival. The city takes an inclusive approach when it comes to hosting its extraordinary festivals and events, touching on nearly every interest across the entire calendar. Spring arrives in Edmonton with lots of fun activities across the city! Here is a link to many activities happening in and around Edmonton this weekend, beginning March 30, 2018:
